sister talk

I really enjoyed having the sister come in and talk about the history of the school. I remember hearing a similar presentation last year in my fye class. I didnt pay much attention last year but this year i learned much more. i think i payed more attention this year because i work in admissions and i give campus tours so i know a lot about the school in general. however i had no idea that we have establishments in other countries like japan. i didnt think we were very worldwide like that. i think its really cool to hear where the sisters have traveled to and what they have done. i give them so much credit because it is a huge dedication to go to another country and stay there for years helping those people who are less fortunate. especially considering that in many of these countries' government dont particularly support what the sisters are doing, like in the case of sister dorathy stang. i really enjoy talking to the sisters and hearing about the things they do.
